MakerspaceCT celebrates 5 years in Hartford

MakerspaceCT, a prominent Hartford-based STEM program, is marking its fifth year with enthusiasm and success. Catering to students aspiring for careers in engineering, design, and related fields, the program has garnered praise from participants like Brayant Paulino.

MakerspaceCT boasts state-of-the-art facilities including woodworking, metal fabrication, textiles, and offers scholarships, catering to ages 13 to 24. The program’s focus on 3D printing, product design, and this year’s theme of Empowering Futures reflects its commitment to hands-on learning.

Notably, high school students use 3D printers to create prosthetics, showcasing the program’s practical impact.
