MakerspaceCT provides opportunities for Hartford-area youth to learn the basics of how to digitally design a product using CAD (Computer-Aided Design).
Thanks to strong community partnerships with ReadyCT and Launc[H]artford we have been able to provide classes free-of-charge and we need your support to continue and expand the program.
These workshops not only provide a great educational opportunity to our youth but may lead to further learning opportunities including internships for real-world job experience.
The cost for each student to participate is $500 for each 5-week session of the workshop. Our goal this week for Giving Tuesday is $5,000 to support scholarships for 10 students.
